Music shows are always the most fun and this is a unique one!
Christopher Smith's great vocal interpretations of the sheep make this a hilarious episode and the first rate character animation from Min Hu's great team at Carloon really bring it to life. I think this is a really original and effective show for teaching musical concepts to young viewers.

Pom Pom

Sometimes in designing for an international audience, things fall into place all by themselves. Above, Pom Pom is holding cards that spell his name in Chinese characters. Pom Pom's name literally translates to 'Friend Friend' in Mandarin. It's perfect for him and such a natural fit.

Festival Update!

We are happy to announce our selection for the California International Animation Festival. We are also looking forward to attending the MIFA film market at the Annecy International Animation Festival on June 7-12 with our friends from our sister production, CLOUD BREAD (cloudbreadandfriends.blogspot.com).

When I Grow Up

This is a really nice story about kids' aspirations and anxieties. It's a nice example of the range that our stories in Rainbow hill can have.

A Ticket to the Circus

This story is a nice mix of 'Kid Issues' and curriculum. It's not always easy keeping a character focus when so many demands are made for curriculum. I think Pom Pom has done a good job of this.

Sounds in the Night

This is a really nice show for acting and personality of Pom Pom and the whole ensemble. Some beautiful new locations make nice use of the Mental Ray renders too. The beautiful storyboard from Llyn Hunter was the key to getting so much heart into a seven minute episode.
